IT Process Institute releases IT Controls Performance Benchmark

Eugene Oregon, September 26, 2006The IT Process Institute today announced the release of a benchmark tool that is based on ground breaking IT Controls Performance Study. This tool allows organizations to self-assess their control use and performance, and compare to the top, medium and low performance organizations that were analyzed in the study.

This simple on-line tool is based on the findings of the IT Controls Performance Study. It asks 45 questions about the presence of specific IT controls, and 15 questions about specific performance measures that vary the most from organization to organization.

IT organizations can use this benchmark to assess current use of the Foundational Controls that were identified in the study. The benchmark output is a simple and compelling 8 page report that includes a color coded comparison of Foundational Controls and performance measures to the study participants.

The IT Controls Performance Study research report and benchmark are available for purchase at www.itpi.org.
