Top Performer Roundtable to focus on Change Configuration and Release practices that drive highest levels of performance

IT executives will meet to explore application of study findings and benchmark results

Eugene, Oregon, Sep. 25, 2007 - The IT Process Institute today announced plans to host a top-performer roundtable event in Chicago on November 13, 2007. The event will be designed to give IT executives the opportunity to meet with other proven top-performers to share practices related to the Change, Configuration and Release study findings and benchmark. IT executives from organizations that seek competitive advantage from highest levels of IT efficiency and effectiveness often lack ways to learn from other proven leaders. The IT Process Institute Top Performer Roundtables are designed to use the empirical evidence and findings of research studies to facilitate powerful sharing and learning in a relaxed environment.

Each participant will come to the half-day event with the ITPI research findings and a benchmark of their own organization compared to other top, medium and low performers in the study. Participation will be limited to twelve IT executives. The session is designed to facilitate discussion about the study findings, with the objective of sharing specific practices that allow participants to break down barriers to even higher levels of performance.

The session will be based on the findings of the ITPI Change, Configuration and Release Performance Study that revealed seven groups of 30 practices that predict the highest levels of performance related to 15 key performance measures. The ITPI Change, Configuration and Release Performance Benchmark is an easy-to-use online assessment tool for organizations that want to quickly compare their use of key change, configuration and release practices and 15 performance measures with 341 top, medium, and low performers identified in the study.

ITPI’s independent research study and benchmark was sponsored by Protiviti, CA, Tripwire and BMC Software.
