Register for CloudSlam: http://cloudslam.org/register Commenting on the impact of this session, Milne reflected, "Deploying a successful private cloud solution requires solving technical issues related to architecture, infrastructure, and automation. However, success largely depends on getting users comfortable with consuming IT as a service and getting internal IT staff comfortable with designing and delivering IT as a service. With private cloud, IT is built differently, IT is run differently, IT is governed differently, IT is sourced differently, and most importantly IT is consumed differently. This book was written to help those responsible for private cloud success directly address these differences and plan accordingly.” Follow Kurt Milne on Twitter @kurtmilne.
